Sarcoma accounts for 20% of childhood cancers, but receives less than one per cent of cancer research funds. Sarcoma is among the most aggressive primary cancers with a mortality rate of 50%.

The Kick Sarcoma initiative, led by the Sarah-Grace Sarcoma Foundation, is designed to boost the profile of this ‘forgotten cancer’ and raise much needed funds for more research into this devastating disease.

Ellie Cole is a sarcoma survivor and one of the brightest hopes for our Paralympic team in London. She will be racing for gold at the London Games in August.

Ellie will be joined by other elite sportspeople, Members of Parliament, diplomats, and friends and supporters at the launch of ‘Kick Sarcoma – the forgotten cancer’.
